Lord of the Strings – Acoustic Eidolon

Listen to Joe Scott and Hannah Alkire, both of whom joined forces on the music scene in 1998. This confluence of two gifted musicians has resulted in the internationally acclaimed duo, Acoustic Eidolon.

Lord of the Strings Concerts has built a reputation for bringing some of the finest Concert Guitarists in the world to Southern California since 2002.  Each and every show features internationally recognized musicians of various genres in a unique and intimate setting.

During the concert, guests will have the option to purchase wine and food curated by LCA Wine and one of SOCO’s culinary partners.




Goathill Junction Railroad Station Train Ride

The Orange County Model Engineers operate the Goathill Junction Railroad Station at the eastern end of the park and provide free model train rides on the third weekend of each month.

Walk with the Mayor

At 5:30 a.m. on the third Friday of each month, residents can participate in the “Walk and Talk with the Mayor” for approximately a 90-minute walk. The group will meet at the Estancia High School parking lot (2323 Placentia Ave.) adjacent to the tennis court.




Chamber Ensemble Dover Quartet

Award winning Chamber Ensemble “Dover Quartet” will make  their Segerstrom Center Debut on Thursday, March 17 at 8 p.m. Described as the young American string quartet of the moment and viewed as pulling away from their peers with their interpretive maturity and taut ensemble, this Center debut will begin with a performance of Mozart’s String Quartet No. 17.

California-certified farmers’ market where genuine farmers sell fruits, nuts and vegetables directly to the public. Every farmer who sells at a certified market is inspected by the county agricultural commissioner to make sure he/she actually grows the commodity being sold.

Students signed-up to take the OCC/GWC/CCC placement tests and are interested in brushing up on their math and English test taking skills are encouraged to attend a free review session. Sign up at the career center.




Costa Mesa High School Boosters Bingo

Every Tuesday at the Costa Mesa Senior Center, doors open at 5 p.m.  Early Bird Bingo starts at 6 p.m.  Main games pay up to $250  (payout dependent upon participation) and one-hundred percent of profits go directly to the benefit of the students.

Costa Mesa High School Boosters Bingo was created as a fun and effective fundraiser for Students. The money raised from BINGO helps to fund important programs such as Student Travel, DELTA, Sports,  Science, Arts and Music Programs.
