Segerstrom Center And Anika’s Pink Closet Clothing Drive

Segerstrom Center for the Arts and Anika’s Pink Closet are pleased to announce a clothing drive that will take place during the run of the Tony Award®-winning Broadway musical Rodgers + Hammerstein’s CINDERELLA from April 19 – May 1. Guests are encouraged to bring gently used clothing to the theater where the team from Anika’s Pink Closet will be on hand to collect the generous donations. These donated items will be distributed to foster homes and child abuse prevention centers throughout Orange County. All clothing items will be gratefully accepted, however girls and children’s clothing are needed in particular. Those who donate will receive a small token of appreciation for their support of Anika’s Pink Closet (while supplies last!). On opening night, Anika and her mom will be on-site to help collect items.




The Costa Mesa Community Run Walk-Up Registration and Packet Pick-Up

The 9th Annual Costa Mesa Community Run features a new 10k course with a run through Fairview Park, onto the Santa Ana River Trail towards the beach and back to Estancia High School for a strong stadium finish.

Also featured is a new Super Hero Family Fun Run. Everyone is invited to come dressed as your favorite super hero and run a short (less than one mile) course with the whole family. All finishers will receive a custom race t-shirt and goody bag loaded with great stuff.

The world’s largest pet and pet product expo with exhibits by retailers, groomers, hobbyist groups, humane societies & rescue organizations, breeders, etc. Attendees will find dogs, cats, birds, fish, reptiles and more, plus top-notch entertainment. You are invited to attend the annual Open House event for Early College High School.  This will be a great way to learn more about Early College High School for those interested in attending in the upcoming 2016-17 school year.   • Apply online to Coastline, Orange Coast or Golden West, wait to receive a college ID number.
  • Register for the test with Allie Hatch in the College and Career Center (bring college ID number)
  • Study! Find practice questions at www.cmhs.schoolloop.com/communitycollege

What do I bring with me on test day?

  • College ID number
  • Photo ID card
  • Pencils, pen and an eraser.

2016 Spring Adult Futsal – Games begin

Games begin Tuesday, April 19 and run for 10 weeks on Tuesdays only. Games will begin at 6:30 p.m., 7:25 p.m. and 8:20 p.m. and are played at the Downtown Recreation Center.
