    Segerstrom Center for the Arts and Anika’s Pink Closet are pleased to announce a clothing drive that will take place during the run of the Tony Award®-winning Broadway musical Rodgers + Hammerstein’s CINDERELLA from April 19 – May 1. Guests are encouraged to bring gently used clothing to the theater where the team from Anika’s Pink Closet will be on hand to collect the generous donations. These donated items will be distributed to foster homes and child abuse prevention centers throughout Orange County. All clothing items will be gratefully accepted, however girls and children’s clothing are needed in particular. Those who donate will receive a small token of appreciation for their support of Anika’s Pink Closet (while supplies last!). On opening night, Anika and her mom will be on-site to help collect items.

    Tour de OC is a 100% volunteer driven event with 25 mile, 55 mile and 100 mile routes with an expo, raffle and refreshments at well-staffed rest stops.  THIS IS NOT A BIKE RACE!  You can ride as far as you’d like.  If you choose not to complete the course, a team will pick you up.  All riders, regardless of experience are welcomed.

    Tour de OC is a family friendly fundraising bike ride through beautiful Orange County.  This event provides proceeds to allow life changing moments and unique opportunities of hope to children of abuse. Removed from abusive situations, these kids will experience love and support from adult volunteers who truly care about them.  There are over 3.8 million children in America who are abused and neglected each year and sadly, a child dies every four hours due to abuse.

    Game starts at 12:35 p..m. but the parking lot opens at 9 a.m. Join in for the 5th annual Tailgate Party under the “Big A.” The league will provide hot dogs and chips but please bring your own drinks and a dessert or side to share.

    CMALL little League Players will be able to walk the field as a group beginning around 11 a.m.

    Tickets are $20 each and seats are in the Right Field Pavilion. Deadline to request tickets is the end of April or until they are gone.

Teachers and school administrators, PTA members, community partner, nonprofit organizations and those interested in presenting world-class artists at assemblies or teach art workshops at their sites are encouraged to attend. This free event will present more than 60 internationally acclaimed professional artists representing all art forms: dance, music, theater, storytelling and visual arts.

    Movies in the Park returns to Costa Mesa with the free showing of Minions. This family friendly event, sponsored by Gatehouse Properties and the City’s Parks & Community Services Department, will be held at Balearic Park, just behind the Balearic Community Center.

    The pre-show begins at 5:45 p.m. with food trucks and games and the movie will begin at dusk.  All guests are encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chair to the event.
